Benefits of the Daily Email Summary
Tiller’s Daily Email Summary is a powerful tool for keeping informed about your money. It’s one of Tiller’s most popular features.
The Daily Email Summary is a concise digest aggregating your latest available posted transactions and account balances into a single email, so you can:
Start your day with a snapshot of what’s happening with your financial life
See your latest available transactions and balances without opening your Tiller spreadsheets
Easily review recent account activity on your phone
Catch unexpected transactions and fraud
See if any of your financial institutions need to be refreshed
How does it work?
When you opt in to the Daily Email Summary, each morning Tiller will send an email with your latest transaction and balance details to the email address you used to sign up for Tiller.
If you'd like to have the Daily Email sent to another email address, you need to set up a forwarding rule within your email provider software.
Please keep in mind that this email contains sensitive financial information. If you prefer this information not be sent to your email, do not turn this feature on.
The Daily Email includes balances for all accounts that you have connected to Tiller and recent transactions for these accounts. Keep in mind this will only include up to date information for accounts that have refreshed since your last Daily Email.
We currently don't have features for granularly controlling which accounts are included in the email, but there are several feature requests you can vote for in the Tiller Community related to the Daily Email Summary.
