Once you’ve established the category structure for your budget (which you can always change later as you begin to build awareness about your spending) you can start adding your budget targets. 

  1. Enter your target spending amount for each budget component in the Category Breakdown area. 
  2. Focus on the current budget rows first. 
  3. Review the total for the entire category in Targets column.

You can then start to build out the future budget rows with their respective amounts for each component in the Category Breakdown.

Reviewing your Budget Planner

At the top of the Planner sheet you’ll notice a Budget Planner table that displays the totals for your income and budgeted spending for the current budget and a future budget. This will let you know how much money you have remaining to allocate for the month for your budget based on your projected income.
