Once you’ve set up your budget on the Planner sheet, the next step is to start categorizing your spending and earnings on the Transactions sheet. It’s best practice to categorize only transactions from this month to populate your current budget analysis on the Dashboard sheet. Don’t worry about last month’s expenses yet. You can always categorize that later if it’s really important.
