This help article is for our Budget Template version 1.0. 

As of May 17, 2018 we have released the version 2.0 of this template, which you can learn about here.

The report generated by the Category Detail sheet will give you a detailed analysis of your spending and earnings across your types, groups and categories at the transaction level. It will only pull in transaction data for categories that are not marked as “Hide from Reports” and only for categorized transactions. 

  1. Select a date range for the report. 
  2. Use the drop down in the Run Script column to “Run” the report. Within a few seconds your report will appear.

To re-run the report for a different time period simply select the time period and then choose “Run” again.
